On Monday, the tribunal learned communication data and data recovered from phones documented Ms Wandelt repeatedly requesting Madeleine's mother for a DNA test over 2023 and 2024.

Madeleine's case in 2007 - when she was three years old during a vacation in Portugal - is one of the most widely reported child disappearance cases and continues to be unresolved.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

Another recorded message, shared in court, recorded Ms Wandelt declaring: "I know I'm heavy and unattractive like Madeleine was, but I know what I feel."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's voicemail expressed: "What if there is a slight possibility that I am she? What happens next? Wouldn't that be significant for you?"

"I don't want money, I have a living here in Poland, I just want to know," the recording stated.

The tribunal was told that by means of emails, text messages and calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a biological test, sent childhood photos to her phone in a bid to demonstrate a similarity to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and stated to have "memories" from a childhood with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, an investigator with the police force who gathered the information, told the court there "seemed to lack any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also communicated with acquaintances of the McCanns, according to the phone records.

On October 9th, 2024, the father picked up a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "a wrong number."

During that incident Ms Wandelt recorded a recording on Mrs McCann's recording stating "I will persist and I will prove my position."

The court heard Mrs Spragg established a association online with Ms Wandelt before accompanying her on a visit to the McCanns' residence in that area in that winter.

Phone records demonstrated Mrs Spragg had reached out using WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to say the media had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she ought to be taken seriously in the period preceding the visit to Rothley, that area, in last December.

The court was told correspondence between the two accused, in November 2024, discussing endeavoring to obtain Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her bins or from silverware at a dining venue.

"We have to make a stand," Mrs Spragg advised Ms Wandelt.

On the evening of the trip to their house, Mrs Spragg transmitted a text which stated: "We find ourselves positioned adjacent to the McCanns' house with our lights out resembling private investigators. I desired to do this with another person I hadn't anticipated I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The trial proceeds.
